He learned to water-ski, knee-board, wake-board, and sail, going on to earn his boater's license.  He was an avid swimmer and spent 10 years swimming for the North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC).  His love of music remained at the forefront as he was asked to perform the National Anthem for swim meets, including venues such as The Naval Academy.

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre (with an emphasis on Musical Theatre) at Rollins College, a small liberal arts school near Orlando, Florida. He had the opportunity to study with renowned performers and teachers such as Kevin Gray and Richard Owens. Kevin also minored in Psychology with a focus on child development. Children at the College's Child Development Center responded instantly to his high-energy theatrical way of interacting.

Kevin's ultimate dream of performing professionally in New York City drove him to audition for the CAP21 Professional Training Program during his senior year.  Since moving to the city, Kevin has performed professionally in Regional Theatres, National Tours and various Theme Parks.  He currenty studies voice with Chris Citera who is part of the Mike Ruckles Voice Studio.
